What to have ready

None of this is required to start. Call and we will work out the rest with you. It just moves faster if you have it in front of you.

• A new quote. Your current declarations page if you have one, plus the drivers, vehicles, address, or business operations you want covered.
• A policy change. Your policy number and the date you need the change effective. Coverage is not bound or altered until an authorized representative of Kolstad Insurance Services confirms it.
• ID cards or a certificate of insurance. The policy number, and for a certificate the exact name and address of whoever is requesting it.
• A claim. Your policy number, the date and location of the loss, and photos if you were able to take any.
• A renewal review. The renewal notice your carrier mailed, and anything that changed this year: a new roof, a new driver, a new vehicle, a hire, a move.

What happens after you reach out

Messages sent from this page land in our office inbox and go to a person on our team, not a call center queue and not a bot. We answer the same business day, Monday through Friday. If you call after hours or over the weekend, leave a voicemail or send the form and we pick it up the next business morning. For an active claim that cannot wait, your carrier's claims line runs 24 hours and the number is on your ID card; report it there first, then tell us so we can follow it for you.

Who you will actually talk to

We are a small independent agency in Jacksonville. Richard Kolstad, CLCS, TRA, handles commercial lines for coastal NC businesses and property owners. Ashley Lethbridge handles personal auto, home, and the rest of what protects your family. Salvador Gomez keeps service moving in English or Spanish. Because we are independent, we represent several carriers and compare them on your behalf instead of selling one company's product. Coverage descriptions on this site are general and always subject to the terms of the policy that is actually issued.

Where we are, and who we serve

Our office is at 200 Valencia Dr #124, Jacksonville, NC 28546. Walk in during office hours, Mon–Thu 9 to 5 and Fri 9 to 4, or set a time that works better for you. We serve Jacksonville, the Camp Lejeune area, Onslow County, and coastal North Carolina, and we are licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina. PCSing in or out?
